A Suffolk county school bus driver was arrested today for kissing a middle school student he was driving home from school.

Michael Dibella, who works for the Huntington Coach Corporation, was students home from the Elwood School District on November 19 when there was just one 11-year-old girl left on the bus. He parked the bus a short distance from the girl's home then sat next to her and grabbed her face and kissed her on the lips multiple times.

He then drove the girl home, and she promptly told her mother, who called police.

Dibella, 73, of East Northport, Long Island, was arrested at the Second Precinct on Tuesday and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. He will be arraigned later in the day.

The Huntington Coach Corporation had no comment on the incident when reached by phone.
