Bus Crashes, Gets Stuck on Median of New Jersey Highway

A commuter bus full of passengers somehow crashed into the median on a New Jersey highway Thursday and got stuck, tying up traffic back to the Lincoln Tunnel.

Clifton police said there were injuries in the crash on Route 3 eastbound at Passaic Avenue, but did not have details. They were not life-threatening, police said.

Chopper footage of the bus showed its front end hanging over the median, and some people being taken away on stretchers.

Police did not say how the bus ended up at a near-right angle with the median.
