Cops Seek Burger King Drive-Thru Purse Thief

Police are looking for the man who reached through a Burger King drive-thru window and stole an employee's purse that had been hanging on a hook inside.

Authorities say the man stole the purse from the Burger King on North Ocean Avenue in Farmingville just after 11 p.m. Sunday.

He's described as being in his late teens or early 20s with dark hair.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
