2 Charged With Stealing $93K in Burberry Goods at Woodbury Common Outlets

The items were stolen from a storage unit

Authorities say they've charged two Hudson Valley men with stealing more than $90,000 worth of high-end merchandise from a storage unit belonging to a store at an Orange County shopping center.

Police in Woodbury tell the Times Herald-Record of Middletown that a 23-year-old man from New Windsor and a 26-year-old man from Middletown were charged Wednesday with grand larceny and burglary for stealing items from an off-site storage unit belonging to the Burberry store at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

Officials say over a four-month period the two men stole $93,000 worth of coats, scarves, trousers, shoes and other merchandise.

Police say the men worked for another store's off-site storage site.

Officials say the men sold the stolen goods to friends, over the Internet and in New York City.
