A 31-year-old man has been accused of fatally stabbing a neighbor in their apartment building Monday morning, police say.

Officers responding to a call at the building on East 96th Street in Brownsville found 30-year-old Enrique Galloway in his apartment with multiple stab wounds, according to the NYPD.

Galloway was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the suspect, who lives in the same building, was taken into custody at the scene. He faces second-degree murder and weapon possession charges.
