Brother Charged in Case of Missing 5-Year-Old Found Safe

The boy had apparently wandered out of his Queens home when his brother went to the store

The 23-year-old man who was supposed to be babysitting his 5-year-old brother when he went to the store and returned to find the child gone has been arrested on child endangerment charges, police said.

Little Zackary Nazario apparently wandered out of his Queens home Wednesday night when his brother Wilson Morales went to the store, thinking the child was sleeping. Nazario was found safe hours later.

Morales was charged with child abandonment, reckless endangerment and acting in a manner endangers a child under 17 years of age.

Information on his attorney wasn't immediately available.
