Authorities evacuated Brooklyn Technical High School as a precaution Wednesday morning after a fire broke out in a bathroom in the 11-story building.

The FDNY tweeted that it was responding to an "all hands" fire on the fourth floor of the school on Fort Greene Place shortly before 10:45 a.m.

Department of Education spokeswoman Marge Feinberg said the fire was in a wall of a boys' bathroom.

Nearly 6,000 students attend the selective school, which is one of the largest in the city.

The fire was brought under control within two hours and students were allowed back into the building.
