Three people were shot, and police were fired on, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens Sunday afternoon

Suspect Arrested in Brooklyn Triple Shooting

Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting in Brooklyn Sunday where three men were injured and shots were also fired at police officers who were responding to the scene.

The suspect was arrested Monday in Prospect Lefferts Gardens on Bedford Avenue, near Clarkson Avenue, after a foot chase.

The shooting spree began at around 3:30 p.m. on Bedford Avenue and Lenox Road. Police say the officers were not hurt and did not return fire the shooting. 

On Monday, police released a photo of the suspect.

The three wounded men were taken to Kings County Hospital, where they were listed in serious but stable condition.
