Police Seek Crown Heights Groper

Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault in Crown Heights Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say the suspect approached a 24-year-old woman who was walking near Maple Street at about 3 p.m., exposed himself to her and touched her inappropriately. He then ran off.

The suspect is described as being 16 to 17 years old, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build and weighing about 155 pounds.

He was last seen wearing black and gray shorts, a navy blue T-shirt and black and blue sneakers with two different colored shoe laces -- one pair white and one pair blue.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted online.
