Armed Senior Robber in Brooklyn Strikes for 14th Time

The suspect has been targeting senior citizens in more than a dozen attacks since mid-July, officials say

Police say a man who has been targeting senior citizens in Brooklyn and robbing them at gunpoint for their jewelry has now struck at least 14 times.

According to authorities, the suspect, described as being between 18 and 25 years old, began attacking his victims on July 10, and 10 have involved victims over 60.

In each of the robberies the suspect approached his victims, displayed a gun and demanded their jewelry. The victims have all been robbed in East Flatbush, Flatlands and Canarsie.

Police have released new surveillance video they say captured the suspect (see above).
