3 Hurt in Brooklyn School Bus-Ambulance Crash: FDNY

    Three people were seriously hurt when an ambulance collided with a bus carrying 16 children in Brooklyn Sunday night, according to the FDNY.

    The vehicles crashed into one another about 9 p.m. at Fort Hamilton Parkway and 51st Street in Borough Park, firefighters say. Firefighters say the wreck could have been weather-related.

    Two paramedics in the ambulance were seriously injured, firefighters say. One adult on the bus was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The children sustained minor injuries. 

    It's not clear where the bus was headed.

    The crash is under investigation.
