1 Dead, 3 Hurt in Jeep-Truck Crash in Brooklyn

Police say one of the drivers is suspected of driving while intoxicated

One person was killed and three others injured in a crash involving a Jeep and a sanitation truck in Brooklyn.      

The Jeep struck the private sanitation truck around 2 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 20th Avenue and 61st Street.     

A 45-year-old passenger in the Jeep was pronounced dead at a hospital. The 44-year-old male driver was listed in stable condition.

Police say he's suspected of driving while intoxicated; charges are pending.   

The two occupants of the sanitation truck were both in stable condition.
