Armed Robbers Storm Brooklyn Pharmacy, Steal Prescription Painkillers: NYPD

A trio of armed robbers stormed a Brooklyn pharmacy, locked up its workers and swiped prescription pain pills from a safe before running away, police say.

The suspects are still being sought in the Aug 5 robbery at Kingsboro Pharmacy on Dekalb Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Police said the robbers walked into the pharmacy at about 5:30 p.m. that day and demanded Percocet. They locked a 52-year-old worker in the store room and had another 33-year-old worker kneel on the counter floor.

The suspects then got into the safe and took Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Endocet, then took the two female workers' purses containing cars, cash and cellphones before running away, according to police.

No one was hurt.
