A Brooklyn high school teacher has been arrested after she allegedly set off a gun scare at her school Wednesday, police say.
Vilma Latalladi, 53, walked through security at Leon M. Goldstein High School carrying an air rifle and a toy gun, according to police.
The English teacher told police she'd brought the guns in for some sort of classroom project, a law enforcement source said.
Latalladi has been charged with prohibited use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon on school grounds.
The Department of Education says it's investigating.
