Cops Seek Suspect in 7 Brooklyn Heights Break-Ins

In each incident, a resident confronted him and he ran off

Police are looking for a suspect who tried to burglarize seven Brooklyn Heights homes in a matter of hours last week.

Authorities say the suspect, described as being about 20 to 30 years old, broke into five different apartments inside 75 Henry Street between 4:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Oct. 5. Each time he was confronted by a resident and ran off with nothing.

After fleeing the Henry Street building, police say the suspect walked into 75 Livingston Street, where he broke into another two apartments. Again, he was encountered by a resident in both of those cases and ran off.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect entering an elevator at the Livingston Street location.
