A Brooklyn teen has been charged with two counts of attempted murder in a shooting that sent a 10-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man to the hospital with injuries.

Nineteen-year-old Samuel Navarez was arrested Wednesday after the man and boy were shot on Mermaid Avenue in Coney Island Saturday afternoon.

Police have accused Navarez of shooting the child in the right knee and the man in his abdomen. It’s not clear what sparked the gunfire, or if the victims were the intended targets.

Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition, police say.

It's not clear if Navarez has an attorney.
