The 10-year old victim was one of 19 people wounded in weekend shootings across New York City. Lori Bordonaro reports.

Police have accused Navarez of shooting the child in the right knee and the man in his abdomen. It’s not clear what sparked the gunfire, or if the victims were the intended targets.

Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition, police say.

It's not clear if Navarez has an attorney.
