A small fire broke out inside a Brooklyn church Monday, causing mostly smoke damage, officials say.
The fire started on the top floor of Fire Calvary Baptist Church at 951 Putnam Ave. in Bedford Stuyvesant at about 6:15 p.m., the FDNY says. It left behind mostly smoke damage.
One firefighter was treated on the scene for a minor injury.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the fire.
