Brooklyn Boy Stabbed, Tossed from Car: Cops

Police are still looking for the two teen suspects

A Brooklyn schoolboy is fighting for his life after he was stabbed repeatedly and then thrown out of a moving car, apparently left for dead, law enforcement officials said today.

Police said today a 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with the crime.  Law enforcement officials indicated they were looking for two teen suspects.

The boy,  12-year-old Luis Martinez,  was stabbed a dozen times in the back and neck around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. He was tossed out of the car and onto the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Queens, police said.

He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.

According to the Daily News, he had been slashed across both cheeks and doctors said the boy will need reconstructive facial surgery.

A cousin named Monica told the News family feared gang members may have attacked Martinez.

"The marks that he had are signs of gang initiation," she added.
