Here is surveillance video from a shooting outside a townhouse in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn early on Sunday.

Police are looking for the man they say shot a 25-year-old several times outside of a Brooklyn townhouse early Sunday.

The victim was sitting on a stoop in front of the brownstone apartment building on MacDonough Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant at about 1 a.m. when he was approached by the suspect, police say.

The two talked for a short time before the shooter was seen on surveillance footage pulling a handgun from his waistband and firing several shots.

Afterward, the suspect ran off, and the victim was taken to the hospital in critical, but stable, condition with several gunshot wounds to the body.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
