VIDEO: Bronx Man Goes on Shooting Rampage

Police are searching for the gunman; 2 wounded

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a pair of shootings and a robbery in the Bronx last week.

Police say the man started his shooting rampage at about 4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, firing two rounds from a gun into the air in front of the Newsroom Bar at 141 E. 149th St., then firing a round into the window. No one was struck.

The suspect then walked north on Walton Avenue where he shot a 32-year-old woman in the left leg, police said. He proceeded into a McDonald's restaurant at 597 Grand Concourse where he threatened a worker with a gun and took some food from the counter.

The suspect went to the Nuestro Bar at 8 West Mount Eden Pkwy. where he got into an argument with the bouncer, police said. The dispute escalated, and the suspect shot the bouncer, a 34-year-old man, in the left arm.

The shooter then fled.

Both victims were in stable condition.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
