Police say an 18-year-old man was shot and killed on a Bronx street Friday night, and three people are in custody in connection with the deadly shooting.
Officers were called to East 194th Street and Valentinue Avenue in Bedford Park at about 8:30 p.m., where they found the victim, identified as Jonathan Martinez of the Bronx, with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
EMS transported Martinez to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Three people were taken into custody, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
