Police Seek Murder Suspect in the Bronx

NYPD

Authorities are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a 20-year-old man in the Bronx Friday.

Police believe a surveillance camera filmed the suspect carrying a large box as he walked into a public housing building on East 178th Street Friday morning.

Once inside the building, the man allegedly gunned down Paris Thomas and then fled in a Red Chevy Truck.

The suspect is described as being between 25 and 35 years old. He is 6 feet tall, with a tattoo under his right eye. He was last seen wearing a leather jacket with a design on the back and camouflage pants.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips by logging onto www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting tips to 274637(CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
