Two pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle at a Bronx intersection Friday evening, authorities say.
A man and a woman were struck at Southern Boulevard and East 179th Street in Tremont at about 7 p.m., the FDNY said.
They were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, the man in serious but stable condition and the woman in critical condition.
Police say the driver stayed on the scene and no criminality is suspected.
