Three children and two adults are hospitalized in serious condition following a fire at their Bronx apartment building Thursday evening.
Fire officials say the blaze erupted shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the laundry room of a building on Longstreet in Throgs Neck.
Most of the injuries were related to smoke inhalation, authorities said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
