Bronx Fire Kills 1, Injures 1

    Authorities say a 64-year-old woman died in a Bronx fire late Sunday night.

    The blaze is not considered suspicious. It broke out just before midnight at the Parkside Houses on Arnow Avenue.

    Two people were taken to Jacobi Hospital for smoke inhalation. The 64-year-old woman who died is identified as Alease Jenkins.

    Another woman, 49 years old, is in stable condition.

    There were no other injuries.
