Bronx Man Accused of Stabbing Brother in Head: NYPD

    A Bronx man has been accused of fatally stabbing his brother in the head Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.

    Dayshawn Lawson, 21, was arrested on murder, manslaughter and weapons charges Wednesday after his brother, 22-year-old Andre Lawson, was killed at the apartment the two shared in the Claremont neighborhood, police say.

    Police were sent to the brothers’ apartment on a dispute call just before 4 a.m., the NYPD says. When they arrived, they found Andre Lawson with the a stab wound to the head.

    Andre Lawson was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Dayshawn Lawson was arrested at the scene.

    It’s not known whether Dayshawn Lawson has an attorney.
