3 Sought in Beating, Robbery of Bronx Boy Attacked While Waiting for Elevator

Police have released surveillance video of the assault, and are searching for the three suspects

Police say a 14-year-old Bronx boy was beaten by three other teens as he waited for the elevator in his own apartment building Monday.

The victim was in his Eastchester building when the suspects approached him at the elevator, police said.

Surveillance video released by police shows the boy being punched, stomped on and kicked by the suspects, one of whom was also appeared to be filming the assault.

The suspects then took the victim's sunglasses and sneakers, and fled.

The boy was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he was treated and released.

The suspects appear to be 16 to 20 years in age, police said. Anyone with information on them is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
