MTA Bus Hits Young Boy in Queens

A child was hurt when he was struck by an MTA bus in Queens Thursday night, police say.

The young boy was hit by the bus at Guy Brewer Boulevard and 108th Avenue in Jamaica at about 8:30 p.m. 

Neighbors said the boy was playing in the street when he was hit. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition early Friday. 

The driver remained on the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
