A boy was stabbed after a fight broke out between several people at the Monmouth Mall Saturday evening.
The victim was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center with a collapsed lung, nj.com reported.
"Mall management is working closely with the Eatontown Police Department. Mall security responded to the incident immediately along with onsite uniformed police," Monmouth Mall management said in a statement. "We wish the victim a speedy recovery, and the mall will open as scheduled today."
Stores in the immediate vicinity were closed following the incident, the statement said.
A video posted to Twitter shows a group of boys near the Macy's store entrance as onlookers watched. Two of the boys swung wildly at each other and a few others were seen throwing punches as well.
