Child, 5, Shot in Broad Daylight in Brooklyn

Police said a 5-year-old child and a man in his 20s had to be hospitalized after being shot and wounded.
The incident took place around 2:30 p.m. Sunday on Halsey Street in Brooklyn. Police said the child was shot in the leg and the man was hit in the arm. Police said neither injury was life-threatening.
The two were taken to Kings County Hospital. No further details were available.
