Bowery Hotel Evacuated After Fire Breaks Out

    The Bowery Hotel was evacuated Tuesday morning after a fire broke out in a mechanical room near the roof.

    FDNY got the call at 10:58 a.m. for a fire at the 17-story building, and it was under control an hour later.

    There were no injuries, FDNY said.
