A body was found in a shipping channel several miles off the coast of Sandy Hook in New Jersey, police say.
Authorities say a passing fisherman spotted the body in the Ambrose Channel, which is the main shipping channel into and out of New York Harbor.
The Coast Guard brought the body to the docks at Sandy Hook.
State police are investigating.
