A northern New Jersey college has released the name of a student who was found dead in a dorm room.

A Stevens Institute of Technology spokeswoman says Mark Testa was found around 3 p.m. Monday in Palmer Hall, which is on the school's campus in Hoboken.

The school says the cause of death has not been determined, but there were no signs of violence or a struggle.

Testa's age and hometown were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.

Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio says the death was initially classified as "suspicious" only because the student was found alone.

University officials moved students temporarily to another dorm.
