Police say 50 neighbors were forced to leave their New Jersey homes after a man falsely said he had a biological weapon in his apartment.
The High Street condominium complex in Fair Lawn was evacuated Sunday while the Bergen County Bomb Squad searched the man's residence.
The Record newspaper reports police have charged 22-year-old John Edwards III with making terroristic threats and creating false public alarm.
He's been taken to a hospital for observation. Information on an attorney for him wasn't immediately available.
