Bike-By Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, Rapper Hurt

A gunman on a bike killed one person and wounded rapper Bigga Threat during a daylight shooting in Harlem on Wednesday.

The gunman rode by at about 12:15 p.m., according to the Daily News, first shooting Laquan Parks, 28, in the head as he sat outside the Jackie Robinson Houses.

Bigga Threat was shot in the leg, and was expected to survive, the News said.

"I know he'll be OK, but I don't know if he'll be OK mentally after this," his brother, Mike Edwards, told the paper.

A motive for the shooting near 128th Street and Lexington Avenue was unclear, and police were searching for the bicycling gunman.
