Bid "Good Riddance" to 2009 Today in Times Square

Head to Times Square, where organizers of New York City's New Year's Eve celebration are setting up shredders on Monday. Startiing at noon the public will be able to dump everything from pink slips to photos of old lovers.
The shredders will be stationed in Duffy Square in the middle of busy intersection.
A $250 prize will be awarded for the most creative memory from 2009.
The Good Riddance Day is organized by the Times Square Alliance.
