A 34-year-old woman on a bicycle was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer in Queens Wednesday, authorities say.
The woman was riding west on 56th Road near 48th Street in Maspeth when she was hit around 8:45 a.m. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The truck driver remained at the scene and was taken into custody. Charges are pending.
