Police are looking for a man who snatched a laptop from a Long Island Best Buy.

Authorities say the thief walked into the Elmwood store just after 6 p.m. on Jan. 11, picked up a laptop from the floor display and walked out of the building.

The suspect drove away in a vehicle that looks like a Ford Explorer, police say.

The man is described as being between the ages of 30 and 40. He was wearing a gray and black coat at the time of the heist.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-(800)-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
