Police are looking for the attacker they say repeatedly punched a 44-year-old man who cannot hear or speak on a subway train in Brooklyn Monday afternoon.

The victim was riding a Coney Island-bound F train in Queens near 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst about 4 p.m. when a man walked over and hit him in the face several times, police say.

Once the train pulled into the 18th Avenue station, the victim got off the train. The attacker didn't get off.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was treated for cuts to his bottom lip.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
