Authorities say a Westchester County man pulled a knife on a Wal-Mart security guard who tried to stop him from stealing an 18-pack of beer.
State police say Christopher Acebal, 46, was awaiting an appearance Monday in Cortlandt Town Court.
The Journal News says he was charged with first-degree armed robbery after trying to steal the pack of Budweiser Saturday in Mohegan Lake.
The name of his attorney was not immediately known.
