Police issued an advisory in Berkeley Heights, N.J. after a bear was spotted wandering in the area Wednesday afternoon.
The bear was seen close to school dismissal time, prompting authorities to alert students and families and advise those who normally walked home to plan an alternate route home.
Police were still looking for the bear, and asked witnesses to contact the Berkeley Heights Police Department.
