Man Wanted in Bronx, Manhattan Bank Robberies

Police have released a surveillance photo of a man who's been robbing banks in Manhattan and the Bronx the past two weeks.

The man has robbed or tried to rob the following banks by passing a bank teller a note demanding money, according to police:

  • Bank of America at 3508 Johnson Ave. in the Bronx, on Thursday, April 17 at 12:02 p.m.
  • Citibank at 4955 Broadway in Inwood, on Thursday, April 17 at 12:19 p.m. 
  • Capital One Bank at 404 5th Ave. in Midtown, on Friday, April 18 at 11:25 a.m.
  • Capital One Bank at 1745 Broadway in Midtown, on Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m. 

The tellers in the first two robberies refused to hand over any money, and the suspect ran away. In the April 18 robbery at Capital One, he ran off with $2,800 and in the April 25 robbery, he got away with $400.
