A baby girl was grazed in the leg by a bullet and a man was killed in separate shootings Saturday in the same Brooklyn neighborhood, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call of a shooting around 3:45 p.m. in the borough's Flatbush neighborhood to find a 1-year-old girl who had been shot in the leg, authorities said.
About 10 minutes later and a mile away, officers responded to another reported shooting and found 18-year-old Donel Andrew, wounded in the stomach, lying on the ground.
Both victims were taken by ambulance to Kings County Hospital.
Andrew was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. The infant's injuries were not life-threatening.
The victims' identities were not disclosed and no arrests have been made in either shooting.
