A baby girl who died after she was found unconscious in her Bronx apartment may have been smothered when her 11-year-old sister rolled over her in bed.
Jarilyse Delacruz was pronounced dead at a hospital after she was found early Friday, police said.
A law enforcement official tells NBC 4 New York that the sister brought the baby in bed with her because the infant was crying.
The girls' father then found the baby underneath her sister and unresponsive, the official said.
