Manhattan Meth Dealer Used Grindr Dating App for Business

Authorities say a methamphetamine dealer in Manhattan used the gay dating app Grindr to attract his customers.

Authorities said Wednesday that an undercover NYPD officer communicated with Harold Gondrez with the app to set up a series of meth deals starting in late June.

A criminal complaint says that when police raided the apartment last week, they found cocaine and meth, along with $4,000. It says some of the drugs and cash were stashed in a safe.

Gondrez was charged with multiple counts of drug dealing and released without bail. The name of his lawyer wasn't immediately available.
