No Charges for Bill Cosby in Atlantic City: Attorney

His lawyer says Bill Cosby will not face charges stemming from a woman's allegations that the comedian sexually assaulted her in Atlantic City decades ago.

Actress Lili Bernard met with police in May after claiming Cosby drugged and raped her.

Attorney Ed Jacobs tells The Press of Atlantic City in a letter that the Atlantic County prosecutor has ended the investigation and closed the case.

Jacobs wrote that the allegations predate state law that sets a statute of limitations on sexual assaults that occurred before 1996.

Bernard's attorney Gloria Allred tells the newspaper that ``statute of limitations'' appear to be Cosby's three favorite words.
