An NYPD school safety agent has been suspended after his arrest on child-endangerment charges, police say.

Julio Quintana, 35, was arrested Monday evening and charged with unlawful imprisonment, third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The circumstances surrounding the charges weren't immediately clear, nor was it known if he had a lawyer.
