Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of 22-Year-Old Brooklyn Man: NYPD

Police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man last month in Brooklyn.

William Webb, 21, was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of 22-year-old Stashaun Thomas, the NYPD said.

Thomas was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and right arm around 9 p.m. on July 18 in front of 958 Hegeman Avenue in East New York. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he died.

Police said they were looking for at least three other suspects in connection to the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
