A New York-bound Amtrak train took a wrong turn and ended up in the Philadelphia suburbs, officials said.
The Keystone train that originated in Harrisburg somehow got on the wrong track after leaving Philadelphia's 30th St. Station last week.
It wound up at a local train station in Bala Cynwyd that is serviced by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.
The train apparently missed a signal after leaving Philadelphia. Pennsylvania officials there helped the crew return to Philadelphia, where passengers debarked and got on another train to New York.
The train's crew is being held out of work until they undergo additional training, an Amtrak spokesman said.
