A Bronx Baby Who Was Subject of an Amber Alert is Found Safe

The girl was taken by her 13-years-old aunt

The NYPD has canceled an an Amber Alert for a child abducted at St. Lawrence Avenue in The Bronx at 1:01 PM.

"My whole world just stopped.... It is empty," Cyrus Smith, the baby's father told News 4.

Smith says little Giovonna Vizard was taken by her aunt. The girl and the aunt were found late Tuesday night.

They appear to be okay, the NYPD told News 4.

The girl's aunt, Lisa Kent is 13-years-old.

She is a cronic runaway who has been in and out of group homes and has had an ongoing dispute with the family, according to Smith.
